A PTC Thermistor Sensor is distinguished by the fact that the resistance changes with the temperature. In the region around the nominal temperature, the resistance changes from about 250 ohms to over 4000 ohms. You can connect a PTC Thermistor Sensor to a PTC relay.This relay switches the device (electric motor) off.A triple PTC Thermistor Sensor consists of three PTC resistors connected together, with two connecting wires and a Teflon insulating cover.
