The L01 series from Thermik is a bimetallic thermal protector device with a nominal permissible current of 2.5 amperes, normally closed.
It is mostly used in switching cabinets, motor casings and cooling bodies.
When the nominal switching temperature is reached, the bimetallic disc breaks the electric circuit. It is switched back on again when it gets back down to the switch-on temperature. This temperature safety has an insulated aluminium casing with a screw connection.
