Bearing housings repair sleeves are used for repairing worn bearing housings/end bells on electric motors and for preventing eddy currents from causing damage to motor bearings.These are available for bearing sizes 6002-6026 / 6200 - 6224 / 6300-6320. The sleeves are made from steel S355J2 (1.0577)  that machines easily and produces a quality finish.

Bearing housings repair sleeves have:

  • unmatched smooth finish on the ID easing the wear on tooling
  • exactly 1mm to machine of the ID - good depth to finish in one cut
  • guaranteed to be round because of our smooth production technique
  • chamfer on both edges
  • minimal weight in both handling and shipping - no excess material on ID
  • close tolerance (+/- 0.002")

Details

The assembly proceeds as follows:

   - Turn the bearing housing to size *
   - Mount the repair bushing gluing ** or pressing)
   - Turn the repair bushing to the desired bearing size.
   - Turn away the remaining protruding part.

 

* bore tolerance for gluing: H7 
* bore tolerance for pressing: -0,05 
** e.g.with WEICONLOCK AN 306-60
